RMeasimaths - webpage or APP
At Northlew Primary all pupils have a login for RMeasimaths. This is another maths resource to use free whilst at home. It is an online programme which enables your child to practise their maths skills.
All accounts can be tracked by the teacher. Research has shown that pupils who regularly use the program three or more times per week enhance their maths achievement. Whereas, occasional use has little impact on the pupil’s progress. Sessions are an optimal 15 minutes long with an additional 5 minute game option.
All children in school have been given login details for this software, but if unsure please speak to your child's teacher.
Times Table Rock Stars - webpage or APP
Pupils are expected to know all times tables to 12 x 12 by the end of year 4. This resource challenge pupils to answer questions in a time limit in the Rock Festival Area. Both the Garage and Studio are practise un-timed areas. Paper versions are also being used to sharpen skills in the classroom.

Is a fabulous resource with lots of fun tips and games to encourage reading for pleasure. The site has 250 e books available to download and read free. The library of books can be searched for by age as well as type of book and series.
