Enrichment and Extra-Curricular Activities
Our children take part in a range of extra-curricular activities.
Computer, sports, homework, cookery and craft clubs are run at various times of the year. We also provide a challenging opportunity to explore fiction and non-fiction books through ‘book track’ during school time.
Residential visits are aimed at Keystage 2 children. We have been to variety of places including Ironbridge, Isle of Wight, Dorset and Devon Activity centres amongst others.
Music The school offers opportunities for the children to learn piano, keyboard, singing and violin with visiting music teachers. These lessons are individual and parents meet the cost, which are very reasonable.
OCRA PE The children attend a varietty of sporting festivals throughout the year within the Okehampton Learning Community organised by OCRA. A timetable of events can be seen on the School Infomation tab.
Theatre Trips The school takes the children to see productions at local theatres on a regular basis.
Gardening Club Parents work with the children in the school garden. Children are encouraged to plant, care for and harvest fruit and vegetables
